A dedicated Team USA Olympic Channel has launched today ©USOC

A regionalised version of the Olympic Channel has launched today in the United States, offering year-round programming of Olympic sports from around the world.

The "Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA" will highlight American athletes and teams.

Squash and polo have been confirmed as showcased sports for the 2018 Summer Youth Olympic Games following the fourth International Olympic Committee (IOC) Coordination Commission visit to the Argentinian capital.

THE EXECUTIVE BOARD (EB) OF THE INTERNATIONAL OLYMPIC COMMITTEE (IOC) TODAY APPROVED THE EVENT PROGRAMME FOR THE OLYMPIC GAMES TOKYO 2020. THE DECISION MARKS A KEY MILESTONE IN THE EVOLUTION OF THE OLYMPIC PROGRAMME BY INTRODUCING YOUTH AND URBAN INNOVATIONS, SIGNIFICANTLY IMPROVING GENDER EQUALITY, AND REDUCING THE OVERALL NUMBER OF ATHLETES HENCE REDUCING THE GAMES’ FOOTPRINT.
