T&T were disqualified in the men's 4x100 metres relay for a baton exchange outside the changeover zone in their qualifying round heat.

Haqq through to final

T&T boxer Tariq Abdul Haqq is through to the super heavyweight final. In his semifinal bout, Haqq outpointed Cameroon’s Blaise Yepmou 7-5.

Barber 5th in sprint hurdles
Aleesha Barber finished fifth in the women's 100 metres hurdles final. The T&T athlete got to the line in 13.28 seconds.

Netballers 8th
Trinidad and Tobago’s netballers suffered a narrow defeat at the hands of Barbados in the playoff for seventh spot. The Barbadians won 60-59.

T&T 9th in women's hockey

Trinidad and Tobago beat Malaysia 2-1 to finish ninth in the women's hockey tournament.
