TTOC/TTCGA ATHLETES COMMISSION ELECTIONS 2024

Now that the nominations for TTOC/TTCGA AC is complete...

Place your votes for the last two spots for the TTOC/TTCGA Athletes Commission. These two spots are strictly for Olympians and Paralympians between the 2016 - 2024 period. You must select any two (2) athletes from the nominated candidates, but no more than one (1) athlete in any given sport.

  3. Abigail Vieira - Winter Olympian (Alpine Skiing)
  4. Akanni Hislop - Olympian (Athletics)
  5. Jereem Richards - Olympian (Athletics)
  6. Nicholas Paul - Olympian (Cycling)
  7. Akilah Lewis - Olympian (Athletics)
  8. Andre Marcano - Winter Olympian (Bobsliegh)
  9. Portious Warren - Olympian (Athletics)


The elections are based on the eligibility outlined below:

Eligibility

  1. Be at least 18 years of age (not more than 40 years old); 
  2. Not have been sanctioned for a doping offence in their sporting career;
  3. *Either: be a participant in the Summer Olympic Games/Paralympic Games or the Winter Olympic Games within the last 10 years;
  4. Be able to demonstrate they have many of the following desirable skills, knowledge and experience to assist the AC fulfil its objectives and activities: project planning, problem solving, creative thinking, conflict resolution, Microsoft office/computer literacy, able to work in a team oriented environment and take lead on initiatives.
  5. Reside in the country and or make sure they are available to attend (either in person or by Virtual Platform) a minimum of three meetings per year.

No current member, listed below, from the TTOC/TTCGA Athletes Commission would be eligible to vote as they are already apart of the AC:

Please note that all votes must be submitted via the voting link below on or before midnight on 12th September 2024.
